The Managed Conferencing Facility is a simple and cost efficient dedicated voice conferencing facility. It offers existing Interoute voice customers further cost savings and productivity benefits. It also offers new Interoute voice customers an easy and beneficial way to test Interoute's voice solution capabilities with an outsourced conferencing solution.

On offer is a way for customer to host conference calls supporting up to 50 participants per conference, with the ability to hold multiple simultaneous conferences. Administration is delivered via the Interoute One web portal and access numbers are available to be purchased in the major European countries and the US. The Outsourced Conference Facility is a natural add-on to Interoute One.

Simple and cost efficient Managed Conferencing

Interoute offer the following range of conference options:

  • One time - these are active just once for a given period of time
  • Recurring - these are repetitive bridges occurring at specific times on specific days
  • Open conference - the conference bridge is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Access to the service is via one or more unique and dedicated geographic numbers ensuring security and confidentiality, and via Interoute's web portal customers can create as many conferences as required.  

Each conference has its own Chairman and participant entry codes.  These are automatically generated and formatted into an email invite for ease of use.

When customers purchase Interoute's Managed Conferencing, they buy a maximum number of ports.  Ports are available for customers to purchase in multiples of 10, and the number can be increased or decreased as customer requirements change.

As an example, if a customer has purchased 20 conferencing ports, they can now either create multiple simultaneous conferences such as 4 conferences of 5 people (or any other combination to a total of 20 conference call participants) or a single conference of up to 20 people.

All customers receive one inbound number for conferencing in the country of their choice.  Should more numbers be required, these can be easily requested at time of order or later on.  These additional numbers can either be in the same country as the original number or they can choose from over 40 different countries where Interoute offer conference bridge numbers. 

The Interoute service is a flat price per port as opposed to usage based.  This assures cost control for customers with no set up fees for each conference, no per minute charges or premium numbers to call.

Interoute has number ranges reserved in over 40 countries for conferencing, enabling anybody in the world to dial into a customer's conference. Calls into conferences via the Interoute One voice service will be classed as on-net, so the call will be free of charge.

Each conferencing customer will have the facility to create and manage secure conferences that can be accessed both internally and externally from Interoute's network.

Interoute branded voice prompts are available in as default in english and Spanish.  The customer will receive one international direct dial number when they sign up for the service.

Should the customer require more numbers, then these can be easily requested at time of order or later on. These additional numbers can be in the same country or any of the other countries available. 

Interoute's Conference Facility comes with a default set of voice prompts available in English or Spanish.  To improve the personalisation of the conference service for customers, the following options are available:

  • Customised Voice Prompts

Customised voice prompts allow customers to personalise their conferences whereby new prompts can be recorded and uploaded as desired. 

  • Customised Music

Customised music whilst waiting for a conference to begin is a further option.  Unbranded music is provided by default.
