Our SIP trunks provide a VoIP connection to Interoute’s voice network that enables worldwide outbound calling at rates communicated via an agreed rate card. (To receive a list of our current rates please email us.) Voice calls received from any Interoute provided DDIs are also routed to this SIP trunk.
SIP trunks can be delivered via Public internet or Private connectivity. The trunks are compatible with any SIP enabled PBX or SBC including Microsoft Skype for Business 2015 and Microsoft Lync 2013 and 2010.
Customers wanting to benefit from an automatic call forward, activated on a connectivity failure to a pre-defined telephone number can purchase our Assured Inbound service. The telephone number is pre-configured at the time of order.
If customers wish to share capacity across multiple trunks, trunks may be placed in a load-sharing group. This will allow for better bandwidth capacity management and potential reduced trunk charges as trunks do not have to be individually sized for peak usage, only the group needs to be sized for peak usage.
International geographic DDIs
We can provide customers with one or more inbound geographical telephone number known as a DDI (Direct Dial-In). We can offer numbers in over 50 countries. The ability to port numbers from the existing provider is also possible but this is country specific.
Interoute’s DDIs provide a customer with full inbound call delivery from the PSTN. DDIs may be ordered with high simultaneous call capacity for conferencing and contact centre purposes.
Interoute supports Emergency Service termination for Interoute DDIs activated with valid subscriber location details. In some countries Interoute can only support Emergency Service calling using Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) provided by Interoute.
